ALL THE INFORMATION FOR 2010

Hi again everyone ( and welcome if you are thinking of joining Kiama Rugby this year for the first time ), we hope that you have had an enjoyable break over summer and are ready for a great season with us in 2010.

The club is celebrating its 50^th Anniversary this year and we look forward to seeing you soon ( players, parents & friends ) ............ so players, start telling your mates to come along and join the fun. Registration Details below !

Due to a change in the competition rules for Illawarra Rugby it is now very likely that a competition WILL exist in 2010 for the following ages.

U9, U10, U11, U12, U13, U14, U16

NOTE: U11,U14,U16 squads are full

Note : Any representative player must be registered with a club ( Illawarra rep teams compete against other districts in all ages from U10 to U18 ) and we encourage any player interested to try out.

Girls can play up to U12.

 AT TRAINING EVERY WED ( except school holidays ) : 5:00pm to 6:00pm

Kiama Rugby Clubhouse, Kiama Showground )

 Fees -$60/player, $50 for 2^nd child ( Family $150 max )

All new players will receive Kiama Rugby Socks

Apart from the formal club celebrations we are also planning a fun season for the juniors and looking forward to seeing all our teams in new “50^th Anniversary” Jerseys. More details will be available soon.

If you can only help at training but not on game day, or can attend games but not training, don’t let that stop you putting your hand up to help, we will make sure you are not alone and it is always great to have everyone involved.

Like all junior sport we are grateful for, and largely dependent on, parent participation. If you say to yourself  “ I can do that “ then give me a call or let us know at registration, you will be very welcome.

More information on training will be provided at registration and our events committee is working hard to make it a fun season for all the boys and welcoming for the parents. The draw is not available yet but the season will startin May.

Our Junior Sponsorship Package is now available and our valued existing sponsors will be contacted directly regarding the details. Of course, sponsoring Kiama Junior Rugby offers the satisfaction of investing in local children’s sporting opportunities but our 2010 offer is designed to provide as much value as possible to those who support us. You only have to referee our own home games ( unless you want to do more ) and only when you want to. All training will be provided and you will be paid on the day.
